Jeff Stahl passed away suddenly on October 12th. He was a longtime resident of the Lake Norman area, and grew up in Charlotte. Jeff was born in New Haven, CT on March 18, 1954. He graduated from Independence High School and attended UNCC.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alice Stahl. He is survived by his son, Brett (Mindy) Stahl; two brothers, Gregg (Beverly) and Brian (Beth) Stahl; two nephews, Justin (Shelby) and Alison Stahl; and many lifelong friends.
He was an avid golfer, a meticulous classic car restorer, a sports fan, a league dart player, a fisherman, a home improvement specialist, a great cook, and an animal lover.
In his youth, Jeff was a Boy Scout, a little league all-star, a city league softball player, and a hockey player.
Most of all, Jeff was universally known for being one of the most selfless, patient, and giving individuals many of us would ever meet. He always went out of his way to help others and never knew a stranger.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at 3:00 PM at Steamers Sports Pub, 1513 Pierson Drive, Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jeff’s memory to the Lake Norman Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
