Preceded in death by his father William J. Birmingham and his brother William J. Birmingham, Jr. He is survived by his beloved daughters Hayley M. Birmingham, Claire A. Birmingham, and former spouse Joyce P. Birmingham. He is also survived by his mother Ann C. Birmingham, sisters Mary B. Long, Kelly B. Austin (Phil), and several nieces and nephews.
He touched many lives with his sense of humor and good nature. He will be missed by all those who knew him. A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at Old Town Club in Winston-Salem, NC on August 12, 2021, from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Warriors for Wells Great Strides at the Central Eastern Carolinas Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 7101 Creedmoor Road., Suite 130, Raleigh, NC 27613. |
Kevin Birmingham, of Sherrills Ford, NC, born in Red Bank, NJ, September 17, 1963, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2021.
KB is one of the nicest, funniest most generous guys I have ever known! You will be missed so much!

Kevin was just such a great guy to work with. Fun loving, always had laughs and so easy going. I appreciate knowing him and sharing time together. All the best to his family and friends. He will be missed.
I was very saddened to learn about Kevin’s passing. I worked with Kevin at Sara Lee Direct during the 90’s and from attending Holy Family Catholic Church together. Kevin was a great guy to work with and I can attest to his basketball prowess, as there was a group of us at SLD who played ‘pickup’ on a weekly basis for many years and more times than not, being on Kevin’s team meant being on the winning team and staying on the court to take on the ‘next’ team. He will be dearly missed and I will keep Kevin and his family in my prayers and may he Rest In Peace.
Kevin is my cousin, and although I haven’t seen him in year’s I will always remember his happy demeanor and infectious smile. He was definitely one of the good guys that unfortunately is gone way to soon. I now will always regret not visiting him in recent years since moving to NC. Eventually you run out of tomorrow’s. You will be missed but never forgotten. Rest In Peace.
