Chance Davis Gardner

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Chance Davis Gardner, who left this world far too soon on March 5th 2025, at the age of 21. Though his time with us was brief, Chance’s presence left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Chance was born on February 9th 2004 in Mecklenburg County. He was a light in the lives of his family and friends. He was full of life, laughter, and an adventurous spirit that made every moment with him unforgettable. Whether he was playing music, gaming, or just spending time  with friends. Chance approached everything with heart and enthusiasm.

Chance is survived by his loving Aunt Chrissy Warren, mother Kimberly Gardner, grandmother Cindy Adams,  father Johnathan Gardner, his wife Amber Gardner, brothers Hayden and Grayson Holcombe, cousins Sidney Rowlette, Olivia Teague, Aaron Teague, his first and forever love Addie Dellinger, as well as countless friends who became family along the way. His absence leaves an indescribable void, but his memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared.

A celebration of Chance’s life will be held on Wednesday March 12th at The Good Samaritan Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm where we will come together to honor the joy he brought into our lives.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in his memory.

Chance’s time here was short, but his impact was immeasurable. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved.
