Betty Ann Hager, 77, of Sherrills Ford passed away on January 6, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1945 in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone to Richard and Margaret Franz. Betty and her family moved where she attended and graduated from St. Euphrasia High School in Batesburg, South Carolina.
Betty married the love of her life Dennis (John) Hager on November 2, 1963. They created a life together with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Betty worked as a textile mechanic at FAB Industries in Maiden/Lincolnton NC.
Betty was preceded in death by her siblings Ronald Eugene Williams, John Randolph Williams, Donna Whaley Martinez, Diana Franz Hall, and Thyara Christine Williams.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Dennis, her children Angela Felts (Allen Sr.) and Dennis “Bubba” Hager (Annabet), Alex Martinez (Carter); grandchildren Amanda Crouch, Alicia Sherrill (Adam), Allen Felts Jr. (Lindsey), Windy Hager, and Will Hager, great-grandchildren Isaac Crouch, Sawyer Sherrill, Haylee Sherrill, Sutton Felts; her siblings Charles Franz (Janice),Frank Williams (Lack),Myra Revels (Jeff) and Rhonda Elliott (Mark).

I just heard the sad news of Betty’s passing. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your family has always been like a part of our family. Mom and Dad always love coming to your annual pig pickin’, and so did I! Thanks for the fun memories throughout my life. I will never forget you and Betty coming to our house in Charlotte to do a pig pickin’ for my company’s Summer pool and pig Pickin’ party. You and Betty will always remain in my heart. RIP Betty! To John and Family, So sorry to hear of Betty’s passing, so sorry and now is not the time to so sorry for not keeping in touch with everyone. It has been awhile sense everyone kept in touch with each one, had some really great times together.
