Christopher Duemmer

Christopher Duemmer, 60, of Lincolnton, NC unexpectedly passed on January 12, 2025. He was born on April 30, 1964 to Judith Kuster Duemmer and the late George A. Duemmer.

Chris cherished spending time with his family and he adored his children and granddaughter. He never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Most of his career was spent operating heavy construction equipment. In his spare time you could find him tinkering with a car, any power tool or lawn mower. If Chris was near salt water you could usually find him with crab traps and drop lines in the water waiting for the five inch blue claw.

Christopher is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jean (McNerney), his children, Allison and her husband Carter Dold, SSG Christopher J Duemmer, his granddaughter Brooke Dold, his mother Judy Duemmer, and his brothers, George and Matthew.

Receiving of friends will be at 10am, Tuesday, January 21, 2025 with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 11am. Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 537 NC – 16, Denver, NC 28037. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund.

    So incredibly saddened by the loss of my cousin Chris. We are so sorry to hear of this news, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are suffering through these tragic times.
