He is survived by his wife, Nancy Bass, his son Britton Bass and his wife Dianna, his daughter Ashley and her husband George Beasley, his grandchildren, Laura and Willow Bass,and Emma and Grayson Beasley as well as his sister Anne Marie Knight. He was preceded in death by his father James Henry Bass Sr, and his mother Ernestine Bass.
He was an outstanding man of faith, and avid hunter and fisherman, a passionate reader, and a skilled craftsman. He also found joy in spending time with family and friends, new and old.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday April 6, from 3-5pm at The Terraces Clubhouse at 3929 Jasmine Ln. in Denver NC.
We will forever cherish the memories of Jim’s warm heart and gentle spirit. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was a man of rock solid character.
We will all miss Jim walking around the Terraces neighborhood and his friendly smiles.
We will remember his family in our prayers.
