Roger Dale Vickers, 59, of Alexis passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.
He is the son of late Franklin D. and Doris Bumgardner Vickers.
Roger had an unconditional love for his two daughters, the late Crystal Vickers Treadway, surviving daughter Ashley Vickers, as well as his three grandchildren Corey, Courtney, and Kristan. Roger enjoyed his 43 years of service with Land’s Pest Control.
Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Vickers of Stanley, and his three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by his brothers Jonny and Jimmy Vickers, as well as his sisters Betty J. Toler, Kay Vickers, and Teresa Mitchell.
At this time there is no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be announced at at a later date, determined amongst friends and family.
I lo e you my brother life will not be the same without you in it we been though alot can’t believe you won’t be here anymore I will just say see you later not goodbye because I will see you again one day love yea
Roger you will be missed greatly. I have so many stories I could tell but I don’t think I have enough room. I’ve known you since I was 16 years old when I first met you up on Rollins Street talking to you back-and-forth on your Mom’s porch. good old days but Scooter and I will miss you a whole lot you were loved greatly. You are a dear friend and a brother until we see you again. Love you always. .
