Ruth llean Cooper , 71 of Lincolnton, NC, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1954, in Charlotte, NC, to the late Charlie Walker Cooper and Lydia Ruth Cooper.Ruth was a kind and gentle soul who cherished her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Brenda Cochran and Joyce Warriax, and her brothers, Charles Cooper, Roger Cooper, and Gary Cooper. She was also preceded in death by her nephew, Douglas Cooper, and niece, Christie Johnson.
She is survived by her 12 loving nieces and nephews, who will deeply miss her presence in their lives. Ruth had a passion for fishing and spent many days by the water enjoying life. Her absence leaves a void in the lives of all who loved her and her memory will live in our hearts forever.
A private service will be held to spread her ashes and celebrate her life, allowing her loved ones to honor her memory in a personal and meaningful way.
