Samantha Nichole Lewis, 35, passed away suddenly on December 23, 2024. Born on Aug 23, 1989. She was the daughter of Marlene Arroyo and the late, Randall Lewis.
Nichole was a graduate of Maiden High School. She loved helping others and was a caretaker for the elderly. In her spare time, Nichole enjoyed photography with her son, Sammy. Her kind heart always had room for animals. One of her favorite past times was watching family movies, like Heartland, with her stepdad Omar and her son. When she was at home she loved to bake for her family and listen to Christian Music.
She is survived by her mother-Marlene Arroyo, her stepfather-Omar Banda, and her son- Sammy Mathis. She is also survived by her siblings: Jordan Quesada, Abril Banda, and Dustin Lewis and his wife Kalee and their three children: Jerrod Keeton, Kainen Lewis, and Avery Lewis. She is also survived by her uncles and aunts: Brian & Annette Arroyo, Liz Jensie & Terry Saunders, Antonio & Monica Arroyo, and Paula Maczac. She is also survived by her many cousins that loved her: Christian, Sophia, Jessica, Jordan, Julia, Jena. Timothy, Tyler, Jayleigh, Jayden, Jane, and Johan. She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Lewis.
A Celebration of Nichole’s Life will take place on January 25, 2025 from 11-12pm at Grace Church at 1301 12th St Dr NW Hickory, NC 28601.
