William Michael Mangan, 61, passed away on July 30, 2024, after having a severe accident at home. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Thomas Norris Mangan of Boston, Massachusetts and Sally Eileen White of Prince Edward Island, Canada.
William is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennie Lee Mangan(Irwin), their son, Tyrone Anson Stewart, their daughter, Erin Alison Mangan. He loved having a family and was a great significance in raising them.
William is survived by his brother, John Mangan and his brother Thomas Mangan, sister-in-law, Debbie Mangan, and daughter Candance Johnson, and numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
William went to Moeller High School his freshman and sophomore years and then graduated from Loveland High School in Ohio. He attended the University of Cincinnati and received a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems. William excelled in mathematics and was a Mathematics teaching assistant and head of the Mathematics lab. He was offered an assistantship but decided to make his career in Information Systems and met his wife there. William was a free thinker and believed in himself to do projects he had never done before. He was a builder, an electrician, a mechanic on cars and the RV. Most of all, he was a teacher for his children.
A Catholic Prayer Service will be celebrated on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 11:00AM at The Good Samaritan Funeral Home.
